How CAPRE Works

Our model of supported enterprise involves various stages, beginning with an intake and information gathering process – getting to know the entrepreneur – followed by a detailed business opportunity identification, leading to formation of person-centered support circles and provision of ongoing business planning and support.

The support circle typically includes an entrepreneur, a parent/guardian/advocate, a CAPRE support worker, the CAPRE Executive Director, and others who wish to support the entrepreneur.

The long-term aim for each business is to become a self-sustaining, financially viable entity in the community.
